BUFFALO, NY – Sitting patiently as humanly possible, a local Buffalo student is reportedly contemplating the meaning of life after the professor said ‘can you hear me’ for the ninth time in a row during a zoom class.
With online learning and virtual classrooms in full effect during the pandemic, many students have questioned the point of going to class with the world around them withering away.
“I’m making myself go in debt to hear this professor struggle setting up their microphone and connection, to only hear them ask if we can hear them every few minutes. I should just become an anarchist,” said student Joe Nile.
Nile isn’t the only student considering the switch to anarchy, as several of his classmates and students across the country are stuck with wasting their time watching their professors struggle to send an email properly.
“Honestly, if this professor does this one more time, I’m going to burn down city hall and start a riot. Fix your internet and stop asking us if we can hear you. There isn’t a good reason to keep doing this,” said Nile.
