Man Excited About Team Tanking Even Though They’ve Been Tanking For Over 20 Years

DETROIT, MI – Local man and huge Detroit Lions fan Mitch Gordo, is very excited about his team, the Detroit Lions, even though the Lions are winless this year at 0-10-1.

“I know we are bad but I’m excited because we are tanking on purpose to get some really high draft picks. Then we’ll be super good in a few years,” said Gordo.

When reporters told Gordo that the Lions have been terrible for over 20 years and have gone through and failed at multiple tanks and rebuilds including having multiple top 5 draft picks over the years, Gordo assured reporters the 11th time is the charm when it comes to tanking.
