LOS ANGELES – A local job opening reportedly went wrong after it turned out to be a viewing party for the mediocre 2018 film Aquaman.
The opening, posted by Boost Financial, was inquiring for an accountant and had over ten applicants within 24 hours. The job interviewees soon learned there wasn’t an actual job opening, but a viewing party hosted by the company’s accounting manager.
“No one likes Aquaman so I thought I’d post this fake job opening to trick people into watching it with me. Corporate is pretty mad so we’ll see what happens,” said Boost Financial accounting manager Todd Dye.
