AUSTIN, TX – Senator Ted Cruz is receiving scathing criticism for leaving his home state of Texas during the massive cold-weather crisis that the state is experiencing.
Millions are without power, water, and food and at least 56 people have died thus far but Senator Cruz reportedly doesn’t see what the big deal is for him and his family to travel to Cancun, Mexico for a family vacation during the crisis.
“I mean it’s so cold out and my mansion lost power as well so obviously I’m gonna travel to where it’s warm to a resort in Mexico until things get better. I don’t understand why everyone else in Texas who lost power doesn’t do the same thing. It’s the smart thing to do,” said Cruz.
The report shows how cut off from reality and how little Senator Cruz cares for his constituents. Despite Cruz’s ignorance, the millions of people currently without power are expected to re-elect Senator Cruz in 2024, unless of course, they all freeze to death before then.
