Minneapolis, MN – Local dad Larry Michaels is excited for the Minneapolis curfew to end, so he can show off his hot new van.
Michaels reportedly bought the van a month ago and hasn’t been able to show any of his closest friends or relatives his latest purchase because of the COVID-19 quarantine and now, the city curfew.
“There’s nothing I love more than vans and this is my third one in four years. I understand what’s going on in the world, but I wish it could stop so I can show off my new toy a bit,” said Michaels while eating a hotdog with extra mustard and relish.
Since late May, the curfew has been enacted in response to the George Floyd riots, which trickled out a nationwide response for police reform.
“As soon as this curfew ends, I’m going to drive around town and throw a little party to show off my van. Most of my friends and I work during the day, so the night is the only option for us to look at our latest gadgets, but that got taken away from us with this city curfew.”
