Amazon Promises to Help Its Workers Fill-Out Food Stamp Applications, Showing The Company’s Dedication to the Middle Class

SEATTLE, WA – With pressure from the public to pay their employees more, Amazon recently announced the “Help Workers Initiative”, an initiative from the company that promises to help every one of their workers fill-out food stamp applications.

“We’re excited to help out our employees who desperately need help and understand how time-consuming it can be to apply and complete applications for food stamps. This will be great for the company,” said Greedy Fuck and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

“Rather than worry about having to pay our employees more, we can just make sure they’re signed up for food stamps. That’s an easy way for us to keep our income high without having to ever pay a living wage.”
